Female -friendly Toilet Guide | WaterAid
1 in 3 people across the world don't have a decent toilet of their own. But it's not just a question of lacking a household toilet – low availability of public and community toilets is also an issue. Where they do exist, these facilities often don't meet the needs of women and girls, undermining women's human rights.
WaterAid, UNICEF and WSUP have produced this guide to support local governments and sanitation professionals better understand the sanitation requirements of women and girls. It suggests practical steps towards ensuring public and community toilets respond to these requirements, so that women and girls can move more freely and participate more fully in public life
