Description
Judy Garland Child Star to Hollywood Legend. Described as one of the brightest, most tragic movie stars of Hollywood's Golden Era. She was diminutive in stature, just under 5ft tall (1.51m) and shot to stardom in 1939 as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz aged 17.
She had a short but colorful life, dying at the age of 47yrs from an accidental drug overdose. Her journey with drugs started from a very young age when she was given amphetamines to combat her weight fluctuation and other pills to combat tiredness by studio doctors. So sad.
She brought pleasure and happiness to millions and is remembered as a true legend.
