Pakistani investigators probing the death of a female Hindu dental student have found the DNA samples of a male suspect on her body and clothes. Nimerta Chandani of Pakistan's Bibi Aseefa Dental College was found dead on September 16 with a rope tied to her neck. Her brother had said the marks around her neck suggested that she was murdered.

Judge Abdulqawi Ahmed Yusuf, President of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has told the UN General Assembly that Pakistan violated its obligations under Article 36 of Vienna Convention in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case. Yusuf added that "appropriate remedies were due in the case". The ICJ had earlier ruled that Pakistan must review the death sentence awarded to Jadhav.
