Styllou Christofi Documentary
Styllou Christofi moves from Cyprus to Britain to be with her son Stavrous, his wife Hella and three grandchildren. Things don't go well from the get-go with Styllou being constantly judgmental of her daughter-in-law. On July 29, 1954, Stavrous is working the night shift and leaves Styllou home alone with his wife. Styllou plots a brutal plan; she hits her daughter-in-law across the head with an ash pan before strangling her with a scarf and burning her body. Police find it hard to believe a grandmother could commit such a brutal crime such as this, until they look into her past. In 1925, back in Cyprus, a young Styllou was having problems with her own mother-in-law, and with the help of two accomplices, she killed her by shoving a burning torch down her throats.
